What we collect, why, and what we'll never do with it. A woman's cycle and health data deserve more than boilerplate.
Your profile inputs (age, height, weight — body composition only if you choose to share it), your logged food and training, and your cycle dates. Every item exists for one reason: the calculations can't run without it. If a feature doesn't need something, we don't ask for it.
Some features — the coach, the recipe parser, food photo scanning — are powered by a third-party AI provider (currently Google's Gemini API, under paid terms that don't permit training on your data). When you use these features, the relevant text or image is processed by that provider to generate your result. We send the minimum necessary, and nothing is used for advertising.
Prefer not to? Every AI feature can simply be left unused. Manual logging always works.
Sell your data. Share it with advertisers or data brokers. Show you ads. Use your cycle data for anything beyond the features you can see and choose.
Export your data anytime. Delete your account and everything with it, permanently, from inside the app — no email required, no retention games.
Encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted with an established cloud provider on servers protected by industry-standard security.
Email mikaela@mdeatswellness.com — you'll get an answer from the founder, because your data ethics shouldn't be outsourced.
That's the whole policy, really. The rest is detail.
